IndiaFont V6 Licence Terms

These terms supplement the IndiaFont End User Licence Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Where this text and the general agreement differ for IndiaFont V6, this text applies.

These terms apply to IndiaFont V6 (the "App"), its CorelDRAW and Adobe plugins, the AMS fonts, templates, art and text-art libraries delivered through it, and the online calligraphy service behind it (together, "IndiaFont V6"). IndiaFont V6 is made and owned by ArtoMania Studio Pvt Ltd, Pune, India ("AMS", "we", "us").

By creating an IndiaFont account, installing the App or buying a V6 plan you accept these terms together with the IndiaFont End User Licence Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy on indiafont.com.

1. Your account

1. IndiaFont V6 works with an IndiaFont account (email + password, or Continue with Google). There are no licence keys. Your plan, your computers and your downloads are tied to this account.
2. An account is for one person. Do not share your password, and do not let others sign in with your account. If several people in one office use IndiaFont V6, each needs their own account and plan.
3. Some features (exports, downloads, plugins, the free monthly drop and calligraphy generation beyond a few tries) ask you to verify a mobile number once by SMS. One mobile number can verify one Free account. Numbers that have been blocked for misuse cannot be used.
4. You must give correct details at sign-up and at purchase. The name, email and mobile number on the account are used for your invoice and for support.

2. The Free account

1. Everyone can use IndiaFont V6 free of charge, without a time limit, under the Free account rules. The Free account is the trial: use it to make sure IndiaFont V6 works for you before you pay.
2. The Free account has limits, shown in the App and in the table in section 6: a smaller canvas, fewer saved designs and pages, JPG export with an IndiaFont watermark, the free fonts and the free library only, and daily and monthly limits on calligraphy generation and exports.
3. Free usage is counted per computer, not per account. Creating several Free accounts on one computer does not increase these limits.

3. Paid plans

3.1 What every paid plan includes

A paid plan (Lifetime or Yearly) unlocks on the computers covered by it: all AMS fonts delivered with V6, the full launch libraries (templates, art, text art), all effects, full-size canvas and exports without watermark, the CorelDRAW and Adobe plugins, and online calligraphy generation within the fair-use limits in section 6.

3.2 IndiaFont V6 Lifetime

1. A V6 Lifetime plan lets you use IndiaFont V6 on the number of computers stated at purchase (one computer, or two when the plan says so), for as long as you like, with no further payment for V6.
2. Fixes and improvements released for IndiaFont V6 are free for Lifetime customers and arrive through the App's automatic updates.
3. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of this major version, IndiaFont V6, as with V4 and V5 before it. A future major version (for example IndiaFont V7) is a separate product. Lifetime customers may be offered it at a loyalty price, but it is not included.
4. The launch libraries are a fixed set delivered with the plan. New content released after launch is sold as separate Asset Packs (section 5).

3.3 IndiaFont V6 Yearly

1. A V6 Yearly plan gives everything in 3.1 for one year from activation, on one computer unless stated otherwise. It does not renew by itself; we remind you inside the App and by email from 30 days before it ends, and you renew from the App or from indiafont.com.
2. When the year ends and you do not renew, the account goes back to the Free account rules. Paid fonts and paid library items stop working, and designs you last saved under the paid plan are locked (they stay in My designs with a lock badge and open again when you renew). Designs made under the Free rules stay editable. Files you exported during the year stay yours.
3. Renewing restores everything exactly as it was. Nothing is deleted when a plan ends.
4. A Yearly customer can move to Lifetime at any time at the upgrade price shown in the App.

3.4 Loyalty and upgrade offers

Offers shown to existing IndiaFont customers (V1 to V5) or to Yearly customers are personal to the account they are shown to, valid for the period shown, and cannot be transferred, combined or claimed after they end. A V6 Lifetime bought through an offer is a full V6 Lifetime plan under 3.2. When a V6 paid plan is activated on an account that holds a V4 or V5 licence, V6 becomes that account's current product; the V4/V5 app may stop being served on that account.

4. Computers and moving your licence

1. Your plan covers the number of computers stated on it. Signing in on a computer uses one place; signing out frees it.
2. You can move your licence to another computer yourself from the App (My account > Computers) once every 30 days. The old computer stops working the next time it goes online. For more moves, or a replaced computer, contact support.
3. Each computer is identified by a hardware fingerprint. Reinstalling Windows or changing major hardware may count as a new computer; support will help in that case.
4. We may sign a computer out of your account when we see the same account used on more computers than the plan allows, or used by more than one person.

5. Fonts, libraries and asset packs

1. The AMS fonts, templates, art and text art are delivered to the App in an encrypted form tied to your licence and are usable only inside IndiaFont V6 and its plugins. They are never installed as system fonts and cannot be used in other programs except through the IndiaFont plugins.
2. You may not extract, convert, copy, share, sell, upload or otherwise distribute the fonts or library items, in any form, and you may not try to work around the protection. Doing so ends your licence (section 12) and may lead to legal action.
3. What you make is yours. Designs, calligraphy and exports you create with IndiaFont V6 may be used for personal and commercial work: printing, signage, social media, videos, products, client work. You may not resell or give away the library items themselves (for example offering our text art or fonts as a product, stock or download), on their own or lightly changed.
4. After launch, new content is released as numbered Asset Packs sold separately to V6 paid accounts. Buying a pack gives you that pack and every earlier pack you do not yet own, for the lifetime of V6. Packs follow the same rules as the launch libraries.
5. Free fonts and free library items may be used under the Free account on the same conditions.

6. Online calligraphy generation and fair use

1. Calligraphy generation ("Generate") runs on our servers. It needs an internet connection and a signed-in account. A smaller offline mode works without internet for words you generated before and for quick results from the fonts on your computer.
2. Generation is a shared service with fair-use limits so that it stays fast for everyone. Today's limits:

Days reset at midnight India time. "Generate more" and repeating the same word count as a generation. We may change these numbers; the App always shows the current ones. If a limit blocks genuine work, write to support and we will raise it for your account.

1. We may pause generation for an account that sends automated or scripted requests, or that is being used to build a competing font or calligraphy product.

7. Online check and offline use

1. The App checks your licence with our servers when it starts and from time to time while it runs. It therefore needs an internet connection at least once every 14 days.
2. Without a check-in, the App reminds you from day 7 and becomes read-only (open and view, no editing or export) from day 14, until it is online again. Nothing is lost.
3. Online generation always needs internet (section 6).

8. Plugins

The CorelDRAW add-in (CorelDRAW 2018 and newer) and the Adobe extension (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects, current Creative Cloud versions) are part of IndiaFont V6. They need the App installed and signed in on the same computer. CorelDRAW and the Adobe apps are products of their own makers; we do not supply or license them, and plugin support depends on the versions those makers keep supporting.

9. Updates and supported systems

1. Updates install automatically through the App. You may postpone an update, but support is given for the current version.
2. IndiaFont V6 supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). A macOS version is planned; when it is released it will support the macOS versions current at that time, and a V6 plan will cover it on the same computer count.
3. We keep IndiaFont V6 working on supported systems for as long as V6 is our current version and for a reasonable period after a newer major version is released. We cannot promise it will run on operating systems released after V6 reaches end of life.

10. Prices and payment

1. Prices are in Indian rupees. Prices shown before GST have 18% GST added at checkout; the invoice shows both.
2. Payment is taken by our payment partner (Razorpay: cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, EMI where offered). We do not see or store your card details.
3. A plan is activated on your account automatically within a minute of a successful payment. If that does not happen, write to support with your order number; activation is done by hand the same working day.
4. Prices and offers may change at any time. A price change never affects a plan already paid for.

11. Refunds

Because the Free account lets you try everything before paying, we do not refund for change of mind. Refunds are considered under the IndiaFont Refund Policy for duplicate payments, payments taken without authorisation, and technical problems that our support cannot solve within 7 days of your first request; requests must reach us within 15 days of purchase. A refunded plan is removed from the account.

12. Ending the licence

1. We may suspend or end an account's plan, without refund, if the account is used to extract, share or sell fonts or library items, to work around the licence or protection, to run scripted requests against our servers, by more people or on more computers than allowed, or with false details.
2. You may stop using IndiaFont V6 at any time. A plan does not become refundable because you stop using it.
3. If you want your account deleted, write to support; we delete it under the Privacy Policy (invoice records are kept as the law requires).

13. What the App sends us, and what stays with you

1. Your files are on your computer only. Your designs, saved calligraphy, effect images and added fonts live in your own folders (Documents > IndiaFont V6 and the App's data folder). We hold no copy, we never upload them, and we cannot recover them after a format, a reinstall or a change of computer. Keeping a backup is your responsibility: My account > Backup makes one ZIP of all of it in a click, and Restore puts it back on any computer where you sign in. Exception: Creator accounts chosen by AMS, whose library drafts are backed up to our storage.
2. To work, the App sends us: your account sign-in, a hardware fingerprint of the computer, the words you type for calligraphy generation (needed to generate them), usage counts for the limits above, the App and plugin versions, and the licence check-ins. If you click "Create support file", a zip with the plugin logs and a read-only check of the computer is written to your Desktop for you to send us; nothing is sent automatically.

14. General

1. IndiaFont V6 is provided under the IndiaFont End User Licence Agreement, including its warranty disclaimer and limits on liability. Our total liability for IndiaFont V6 is limited to the amount you paid for your plan.
2. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, as in the EULA.
3. We may update these terms. The App shows the date of the current version; material changes are announced in the App's notifications. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
